Changing Customer Demands in Las Vegas Printing

The competition for Las Vegas printing has never been a tighter race. As we near 2013, customer demands have changed. Not only do our customers expect more—they expect better. The stakes for print jobs have changed; low prices and quick turnaround no longer guarantee a customer’s loyalty.

The trends for 2013 are clear: green printers, higher levels of customer convenience through digital means, and continued improvement in both quality and value of products. Let’s examine each of these trends in a bit more depth.

Las Vegas Printing Must Offer Green Solutions

Customers are more environmentally savvy than they were in decades past. They understand that the print business can be wasteful of resources, and they are looking for green printers who offer more environmentally friendly solutions for routine print jobs. It’s up to printers in Las Vegas to answer this challenge, and strive to find new ways to keep their customers happy.

Print shops need to reduce the amount of resources, such as paper, that they use. They need to recycle inks, papers, and other materials rather than simply tossing them out. And they need to obtain certification from an outside third party that can verify the genuineness of their efforts to reduce their carbon footprints.

Las Vegas Printing Must Offer Online Services

Back in the day, a customer had to come in to a print shop during working hours to place an order. Then they had to come back to sign off on a proof before a job could begin. This process, so tedious and labor-intensive, must be replaced by digital means to help accommodate customers’ busy schedules.

To stay ahead of the game, print shops have to offer online alternatives. At a minimum, they need to deliver PDF proofs via email so that a customer no longer has to come in to sign off on them. Offering a web portal that allows customers to upload documents and place orders is fast becoming a necessity, too. The portal, after all, is open 24-7 for the convenience of your customers. No longer must they change their schedules to suit the printers’ schedules.

Las Vegas Printing Must Offer Quality and Value

This is nothing new, but changes in technology don’t mean that customers want to pay more for items that are made with less quality. So even though print shops strive to offer digital options and reduce, reuse, recycle, they still have to offer the same—or better—service than before.

With the variety of options available for those customers seeking print jobs, local Las Vegas printing shops have to go the extra mile. By offering the highest quality offset and digital printing jobs for customers, we can be assured that they will buy locally every time rather than going overseas.

These trends will keep Las Vegas printing shops on their toes for the year to come. But by focusing on improvement in one—or even all three—of these areas, a local Las Vegas printer can offer the best possible service to its customers.
